Pacemaker recruitment program

▍Recruitment period is from now until November 8, 2024

▍ The number of recruits is 42 (male or female); Among them, there are 24 people in the marathon event and 18 people in the half marathon event.

▍Official pacemaker requirements

1. You need to have paid to register for the 2024 Hengqin Life Hengqin Marathon; (Note: Not free).

2. Meet the age requirements of the competition regulations, have a good image and temperament, and are not limited to men and women;

3. Be physically and mentally healthy, be upright, have no bad social records such as drunk driving and crime, and meet the '2024 Hengqin Life Hengqin Marathon Registration Instructions' (←Click to view the registration instructions);

4. Once selected, the difference between the race result and the target score on the day of the competition shall not exceed 1 minute;

5. Wear the official pacemaker equipment issued by the organizing committee as required during the race;

6. Volunteer to serve as the official pacemaker of the 2024 Hengqin Life Hengqin Marathon, and be able to consciously abide by and obey the management of the organizing committee;

7. During the competition, cooperate with the completion of pre-competition sign-in, assembly, post-competition and other links in accordance with the specified time and place, and cooperate with the relevant public relations activities of the organizing committee;

8. Have a sense of responsibility and mission to complete the pace task, have a stable pace level and skillful speed control ability, and have integrity, affinity, rigor, punctuality, cooperation, and friendly conduct;

9. Official pacemakers are not involved in the race rankings and prize money.

▍ Official pacemaker benefits

1. The Hengqin Marathon Organizing Committee will provide hotel accommodation standard rooms (1 room for two people) for one day for all pacemakers who have successfully registered and participated, and will arrange check-in in a unified manner;

2. The organizing committee will provide exclusive equipment for all pacemakers who have successfully registered and participated in the competition;

3. The pacemakers gather for a group photo before the race and enter the check-in area in a unified manner;

4. Collect and sort out the makeup photos taken by the official pacemaker, publicize them on the official channels of the event, and publish them in the official brochure of the event;

5. The Hengqin Marathon Organizing Committee will issue the 2024 Hengqin Life Hengqin Marathon Official Pacemaker Honorary Certificate to the pacemakers who finish the race within the specified time, and enjoy other relevant courtesies.

▍ Registration and selection methods

1. Register through the 'Xempower Event Assistant' WeChat mini-program or the official website of Hengqin Marathon, 'Huafa Sports' and 'Hengqin Marathon' WeChat public accounts.

2. The organizing committee will review the registration materials of the official pacemaker, and the organizing committee will select the best players according to the comprehensive quality and speed control level of the registered players.

3. The organizing committee will provide direct places for all pacemakers; The shortlist will be announced on the official website and WeChat official account in late November.

▍ Pacemaker behavior requirements

1. Do not drink alcohol the night before the race, and follow the arrangements of the organizing committee staff;

2. Do not make dangerous behaviors during the race, such as rushing out of the track horizontally;

3. During the race, you must maintain a constant speed of movement, interact with runners, and lead runners to finish the race safely and smoothly;

4. If any person is found to behave inappropriately and does not listen to dissuasion, the organizing committee has the right to cancel his official pacemaker qualification and strictly prohibit him from participating in the Hengqin Marathon in the next two years.

▍Tips

1. If the contestant who is successfully selected as the official pacemaker needs to withdraw for any reason, he or she should notify the organizing committee by phone and email before December 5, so that the organizing committee can arrange to replace the official pacemaker;

2. The submission of personal photos and other information agrees to be used by the organizing committee in the publicity and promotion of the official pacemaker of the event;

3. The final interpretation right of this event belongs to the Organizing Committee of the 2024 Hengqin Life Hengqin Marathon.
