Notice of Gun Starting

Hengqin Life Hengqin Marathon will start on March 23, 2025, in order to ensure the safety of the participants, fully alleviate the pressure of pre-race clothing, security check, toilet, check-in, in-race supply, post-race service and other links, and at the same time provide a better experience for the runners and improve the finishing results of the runners. The relevant matters related to the starting order of the split gun are hereby notified as follows:

After the draw of lots for the event, the organizing committee will verify the results of all qualified runners from January 1, 2021 to September 30, 2024, and verify the marathon personal best finish results that can be queried by the Chinese Athletics Association from January 1, 2021 to September 30, 2024. Among them, areas A and B are mixed runners for marathon and half marathon events; Zones C and D are for half marathon runners; Zone E is for runners in the Happy Run. On the day of the event, players are requested to check in and assemble according to the corresponding area. The score range and number of students are set as follows:

*Note: If the player fails to complete the check-in area within the specified time frame, he or she must proceed to the end of the next pistol assembly area.

The marathon and half marathon in Zone A and B are 5:15-6:45, the half marathon in Zone C and D is 5:15-7:00, and the fun run in Zone E is 5:15-7:15.

First shot: 7:00 a.m., marathon and half marathon A and B runners start;

Second shot: 7:15 a.m., half marathon C and D runners start;

Third shot: 7:30 a.m.;

The start gate closes at 7:45 a.m. and riders are no longer allowed to enter the course through the starting line.

According to the rules of the race, the closing time of the marathon is 6 hours and 15 minutes after the start of the gun, that is, the closing time of the marathon is 13:15 Beijing time. The closing time for the half marathon is 3 hours and 15 minutes after the start of the gun, that is, the closing time for the half marathon is 10:30 Beijing time. The closing time of the Happy Run is 1 hour and 30 minutes after the gun is fired, that is, the closing time of the Happy Run is 9:00 Beijing time.

Hengqin Life Hengqin Marathon will strictly check and manage the gun division, and set up a timing blanket for verification at present, and the runners must enter the assembly area according to the information on the number bib to check in and race. Under special circumstances, runners in the front zone can enter the rear zone to check in and start (for example, Zone A can start in Zone B, C, D, and E), and the rear zone is not allowed to enter the front zone to check in and start (if runners in Zone B are not allowed to start in Zone A, and so on), if they violate, the runner's results and rankings will be cancelled, and the penalty of a one-year ban will be added, please comply with all runners.
