The 2024 Hengqin Life Hengqin Marathon is scheduled to be held at 7:00 a.m. on 23 March 2025 (Sunday) at the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, starting and ending at the Central Park of Hengqin Financial Island. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the event, in accordance with road traffic safety laws and regulations, temporary traffic control measures and rolling unsealing measures will be taken on some roads during the event.

1. Specific arrangements for traffic control measures

(1) The control time and road section of the core area of the starting and ending points

1. From 9:00 on March 21 to 17:00 on March 23, Huitong 5th Road (Shizimen Avenue to Rongyue Road) will be closed to traffic in both directions.

2. From 9:00 on March 21 to 14:00 on March 23, Huitong 2nd Road (Shizimen Avenue to Rongzhu Road) will implement two-way closed traffic control.

3. From 9:00 on March 22 to 17:00 on March 23, Shizimen Avenue (Huitong 3rd Road to Huitong 5th Road) will be closed to traffic in both directions.

4. From 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. on March 23, two-way traffic closure will be implemented in the financial island area (north to Huitong 7th Road, south to Qinhai East Road, east to Rongyue Road, west to Rongao Road) and Shizimen Tunnel.

5. From 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on March 23, two-way traffic closure will be implemented in the financial island area (north to Huitong 5th Road, south to Qinhai East Road, west to Rongzhu Road, and east to Shizimen Avenue).

6. From 4:00 to 14:30 on March 23, two-way traffic control will be implemented on Qinhai East Road (Rongyue Road to Rongao Road).

(2) Dynamic control measures during the competition on March 23

According to the arrangement of the race route, the traffic police department will start to implement sectional traffic control on the event section at 6:30 on March 23, and then as the competition team advances, the traffic control will be lifted sequentially and gradually, and the specific traffic control time is as follows:

1. From 6:30 to 9:00, Rongao Road (two-way traffic control from Huitong 5th Road to Qinhai East Road) is prohibited from motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles.

2. From 6:30 to 9:00, Qinhai East Road (two-way traffic control from Rongao Road to Hong Kong and Macao Avenue) is closed to motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles. Social vehicles and non-motorized vehicles can detour the metropolitan road.

3. From 6:30 to 8:00, Rongao Road (two-way traffic control from Qinhai East Road to Huandao East Road) is closed to motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles.

4. From 6:35 to 8:15, Huandao East Road (two-way traffic control from Rongao Road to Hengqin Avenue) is prohibited from motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles. Social vehicles and non-motorized vehicles can bypass metropolitan roads, Hong Kong and Macao Avenue, Ziqi South Road, and Ziqi North Road.

5. From 6:45 to 10:00, the main road on the north side of Hengqin Avenue (traffic control on the two-way main road from Huandao East Road to Huandao West Road) is closed to motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles. Social vehicles and non-motorized vehicles can bypass the auxiliary road on the south side of Hengqin Avenue, and wear the upper cover under the Qinshi Tunnel, Qinshi Tunnel and Qinyu Tunnel.

6. From 7:00 to 9:30, the central avenue (two-way traffic control from Hengqin Avenue to Haojiang Road) is closed to motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles. Social vehicles and non-motorized vehicles can bypass the newly opened three roads, Qinshi Tunnel, and Hengqin Avenue auxiliary roads.

7. From 7:05 to 9:35, Xiangjiang Road (two-way traffic control from Central Avenue to Tianyu Road), Tianyu Road (two-way traffic control from Xiangjiang Road to Haojiang Road), and Haojiang Road (two-way traffic control from Tianyu Road to Central Avenue) are prohibited from motor vehicles and non-motorized vehicles. Social vehicles and non-motorized vehicles can bypass Rainbow Road, Tianyu Road and Xiangjiang Road.

8. From 7:10 to 10:00, Central Avenue (one-way traffic control from Haojiang Road to Huandao North Road and Hengqin Tunnel North to South), Central Avenue (two-way traffic control from Huandao North Road to Qinhai North Road), Aiqin Road (two-way closure of Wuming Road from Central Avenue to the west of Tianyu Road), motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles are prohibited. Social vehicles and non-motorized vehicles can bypass Hong Kong and Macao Avenue, Tianyu Road, Tianyu Tunnel, Huandao North Road, and Huandao West Road.

9. From 7:30 to 13:10, Qinhai North Road (two-way traffic control from Central Avenue to Fuqin Road) is closed to motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles. Social vehicles and non-motorized vehicles can detour around Huandao North Road.

10. From 7:20 to 10:50, Huandao West Road (two-way traffic control from Hengqin Avenue to Hong Kong and Macao Avenue) is closed to motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles. Social vehicles and non-motorized vehicles can bypass Hong Kong and Macao Avenue, Kaixin Third Road, and Hengqin Avenue Auxiliary Road.

11. From 7:25 to 10:45, Haojiang Road (Huandao West Road to Kaixin Third Road Section) is closed to motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles. Social vehicles and non-motorized vehicles can bypass Hong Kong and Macao Avenue, Kaixin Third Road, and Hengqin Avenue Auxiliary Road.

12. From 7:35 to 11:50, Qinhai West Road (Huandao West Road to Qinhai North Road) is closed to motor vehicles and non-motorized vehicles. Social vehicles and non-motorized vehicles can detour around Huandao West Road and Huandao North Road.

13. From 7:35 to 11:00, Hopu Road (Qinhai West Road to Shengzhou 2nd Road) is closed to motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles. Social vehicles and non-motorized vehicles can detour around Huandao West Road and Huandao North Road.

14. From 8:05 to 12:40, Qinhai North Road (Qinhai West Road to Central Avenue section), motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles are prohibited. Social vehicles and non-motorized vehicles can detour around Huandao West Road and Huandao North Road.

2. All kinds of vehicles are prohibited from parking on the above roads, and all kinds of items are prohibited from being stacked to ensure the normal progress of the game.

3. The time for the resumption of social traffic on the traffic control section shall be decided by the traffic management department of the public security organ according to the situation of the competition.

4. Units and the general public along the race route should arrange a detour route in advance to avoid affecting travel. During the control period, citizens who are driving in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin should adjust their travel plans in advance and follow the traffic signs to make a detour (it is recommended to detour to the Hengqin Bridge, Hengqin Second Bridge and Hengqin Tunnel to exit the island; Trucks exit the island via Hong Kong-Macao Avenue, Central Avenue and Hengqin Tunnel), and if you drive into the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, please detour to Hengqin Bridge (you can take the overpass on the auxiliary road of Huandao East Road to Hengqin Port in the urban area) or Hengqin Second Bridge.
